Party Affiliation


I am a Democrat who is committed to serving in a manner that will represent all the citizens of my district. Party affiliation is not particularly important to many voters in Vermont. Vermonters often characterize themselves as independent-minded and tend to vote for the candidate they feel is most likely to represent their interests and who is best suited for the job.



As a legislator, there are many issues I need to explore more deeply before making a decision. Thinking things through is my normal approach in solving problems or addressing a challenge. You can be assured that I will continue to consider the views and needs of my constituents, listen to all sides of the debate, and make use of my own good judgment and experience before making decisions.
