Party Affiliation

I am running as a Democrat. However, I am committed to serving in a manner that will represent all the citizens of my district. Party affiliation is not particularly important to many voters in Vermont. Vermonters often characterize themselves as independent-minded and tend to vote for the candidate they feel is most likely to represent their interests and who is best suited for the job.

As a new legislator, I'm sure that there will be many issues that I will need to explore more deeply before making a decision. Thinking things through is my normal approach in solving problems or addressing a challenge. If elected, you can be assured that I will consider the views and needs of my constituents, listen to all sides of the debate, and make use of my own good judgment and experience before making decisions.
